So I booked a reservation on Airbnb with a full refund option so that i can cancel in case a better place opened up, which is what happened.
I proceeded to book the second place without cancelling the first one just in case. Turns out, I should have done the opposite, cancelled the reservation in the first place & then booked the second place. Apparently, AirBnB checks for overlapping reservations, because of which they will not refund the service fee, which is on the order of $100. Not the end of the world, but definitely wish I would’ve known about the policy before hand.
