Training pets to help in case of emergencies.

Train your pets by having them associate the fire alarm with getting treats. In an actual fire they will come seek you out, instead of hiding. This is extremely helpful when you have escape in a hurry & you don't have to go looking for them. They'll just come & find you. You can start by slighting muting the sound of the alarm & then gradually increasing so as to not startle them. Another thing way that you can train them is by associating a particular sound for them to come find you, that is slightly different from your regular call sound. This will alert them that it's not a regular playtime. Really handy when an emergency escape is needed.
